Application Details
We received an application from H A Blackwood to vary their existing PPC permit PPC/A/1079002 at Auldhouseburn Farm to increase the current poultry operations at Auldhouseburn Farm, Muirkirk, Ayrshire, KA18 3RZ to include an additional poultry house with 32,000 bird places for free range laying hens. The site is currently permitted for 96,000 free range laying hens in three poultry houses.

What happens next
SEPA will consider any comments received during the consultation period between 18th December 2024 and 15th January 2025 before issuing the final decision. If no comments are received, SEPA will issue the final decision no later than 22nd January 2025 and issued documents will be published here.
