SEPA has issued a Permit to Sodra Wood Limited following their application to operate an installation on a site at Forth Ports Limited, Port Office, Stannergate Road, Dundee, DD1 3LU on 28 July 2022, following consultation.

It is part of SEPA’s remit to maintain a high-quality environment by setting permit conditions which limit the impacts associated with installations operating under Pollution Prevention and Control (PPC) Part A regulations.
Application details
We received an application from Sodra Wood Ltd for a permit (PPC/A/SEPA2021-7031) to operate an installation at Sodra Wood UK (Dundee) Forth Ports, Port Office, Stannergate Road, Dundee, DD1 3LU for the process of preserving wood or wood products with chemicals in an installation with a production capacity of more than 75m3 per day.

SEPA will consider any comments received during the consultation period between 28 June and 26 July 2022 before issuing the final decision. If no comments are received, SEPA will issue the final decision no later than 2 August 2022 and issued documents will be published here.
