Closed 26 May 2023

Opened 30 Mar 2023

Overview

Pre-application consultation

Whilst there have been a range of community engagement events and activities held by the Leven Programme over the last three years, we are now holding two further public drop-in events to allow interested parties to view and comment on the current proposals for the Levenmouth Connectivity Project River Park Routes in advance of making an application for planning permission.

The first event will allow the public to provide feedback on working proposals, with the second event demonstrating how this community input has been integrated into the designs.

This consultation is specific to the River Park Routes and does not include the wider Active Travel Network being delivered by Fife Council.

  • Event 1 - Friday 21 April 2023 (1pm-7pm), The Centre, 1 Broomieknowe, Leven KY8 4QP.

  • Event 2 - Friday 19 May 2023 (1pm-7pm), The Centre, 1 Broomieknowe, Leven KY8 4QP.

The Leven Programme

The Leven Programme is a series of connected projects taking place along the River Leven in Fife, that have the environment and people at its heart.

It involves many key government agencies, non-government organisations, private sector businesses and local communities working closely together to help deliver environmental improvements in and around the river, while also aiming to maximise the social and economic opportunities that these improvements can bring.

Our vision is that by 2030, our partnership will have contributed to, and delivered, a number of projects that will have helped to breathe life back into the River Leven, improving the areas surrounding it and making them great places to live, work and visit.

We are also working closely with a number of other projects currently happening in the Levenmouth area; including the Levenmouth rail link, Levenmouth Reconnected Programme and SGN’s H100 project.
